1. Can I please ask how much the council spent in financial year 2024-25 on taxis and private hire journeys?
2. Can I also ask, if applicable, for a breakdown of cost between 'traditional taxis and private hire cabs?
3. And can I further ask how much of the total spent was allocated to school runs?

3. £1,284,117 – this is purely related to school expenditure

Please not that it is possible that further taxi costs may be captured within other budget areas, such as under travel and subsistence. However, to confirm and extract these potential taxi costs would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to provide this information.
