Scope and timeframe

Please provide the following recorded information for local-authority school services for academic years 2015/16 to 2024/25 (year-to-date):

1. Workforce and vacancies (annual):
a) Total teacher FTE (all permanent + fixed-term).
b) Vacancies at 30 September each year: total; and for secondary, a subject split (e.g., English, Maths, Physics, etc.) where routinely held.
c) Time-to-fill secondary posts by subject: median days (and, if held, 90th percentile), with your measure definition.

2. Supply/relief/agency context (annual):
a) Gross spend on supply/relief/agency teachers; where held, split between council bank/relief and external agency.

3. Definitions and guidance:
a) Your vacancy status definitions and how time-to-fill is measured (e.g., advert ? offer accepted or start date).
b) Any internal guidance used for vacancy tracking or subject coding.

4. Management information:
a) Copies of any management/committee reports since 1 August 2023 that summarise teacher workforce, vacancies, recruitment, or time-to-fill.
