FOI Request - Outstanding Repairs on School Buildings

Please provide a list of all schools in your council area with outstanding repairs or maintenance issues, including:

- The nature of each repair (e.g. structural, roofing, electrical, moisture ingress, etc.)
- The date the issue was first identified
- Whether asbestos has been recorded on site, and any associated mitigation/management plans
- Whether RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) has been identified, and details of any monitoring, remediation, or risk assessments

Please supply data for the most recent academic or financial year, and broken down per school if possible.

The excel spreadsheet, which due to size has been sent directly to the requester, has a note of all the outstanding repairs. However the vast majority of these repairs have been completed, they are only closed off on our system when the contractor sends in their invoice to close of the works order. It is a discrepancy in the way our current system works.

RAAC has been identified in one secondary school within Moray.
In accordance with the risk assessment, monthly monitoring protocols have been established to ensure continued oversight and safety.
Structural reinforcement works have been completed to support RAAC panels assessed as higher risk, enhancing the integrity and resilience of the affected infrastructure.
