1. Please can you provide me with the full Internal Audit report on St Giles Centre?

1. The release of Internal Audit’s report regarding the St Giles Centre is currently considered to be exempt from release under Section 30 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Prejudice to effective conduct of public affairs, as the Council’s departments need to be able to provide the free and frank provision of advice, and, the free and frank exchange of views for the purposes of deliberation by the Council.
We acknowledge there is a public interest in the Centre, nonetheless the management of NDRs and detailed findings regarding the Centre’s accounts does not outweigh the need for free and frank exchanges of views. Furthermore, if there is any impact on the recovery of debts this would have would impact the public purse, which is unlikely to be in the public interest.
