Request 101003865564

I am submitting this request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Please provide the following information:
1. Pathway existence
Confirm whether your authority currently has, or has ever had, a designated pathway for adult ADHD assessment, diagnosis, or treatment, and a separate or combined pathway for adult autism assessment or support (for example, a defined clinical route, referral pathway, or service specification).

2. Pathway status
If any designated pathway has existed, confirm its current status (active, paused, withdrawn, or under review) and provide the date and record, minute, or communication that confirms this.

3. Handling without a pathway
Where no formal pathway exists for either adult ADHD or adult autism, explain how these conditions are currently assessed and processed in practice.
Please include:
a) Which service or team (for example, General Adult Mental Health, Psychology, or Neurodevelopmental Services) is responsible for accepting or managing referrals.
b) How treatment, medication review, or follow-up is managed contingently for adults diagnosed with ADHD or autism without clear pathways.
c) Whether adults diagnosed with ADHD or autism are recorded or coded under any specific category for monitoring or reporting purposes.

This request seeks only administrative and commissioning information, not clinical or patient-specific data.
