Data on Planning applications since the introduction of DP4 in 2020 which include applications approved outside of policy including details of the specific exception ie, cladding materials used, ridge height, roof materials , name of Architect etc.

Departures from specific policies during the lifetime of a particular plan are monitored occasionally, and the linked policy monitoring report gives the latest update on compliance with all Moray Local Development Plan 2020 policies. This will be reviewed again at some point in the future for the current development plan. We will not have this information collated beyond the attached monitoring report (covering 27th July 2021 to 26th July 2023). Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held. 

Any subsequent departures since July 2023 for specific policies would need to be searched for via the public e-planning portal. We would not have the time or resources for continues monitoring and analysis of local development plan policies throughout the lifetime of the local development plan.

In terms of the other information sought, such as the specific grounds for departure, we do not collate details of the specific departure grounds for each case, and the case details ie, cladding materials used, ridge height, roof materials etc would need to be looked up in each approved departure application. As this information would need to be reviewed on a case by case basis, it could be accessed via the public e-planning portal for Moray Council where (via the advance search) the time period and development type could help refine down the search of applications approved as departures from policy DP4.
