Response 19-11-2025
1. Assuming the legislation mentioned is " The Homeless Persons (Unsuitable Accommodation) (Scotland) Order 2014 (as amended)" then the answer is 0.
2. Not applicable
3. In 23/24 we breached the Unsuitable Accommodation Order on 25 occasions.
In 24/25 we breached the Unsuitable Accommodation Order on 28 occasions.
To date in this reporting year we have breached the order on 14 occasions.
4. On each occasion, we used B&B type accommodation to place homeless households and they were then moved into another form of temporary accommodation (ie hostel or dispersed property). Unfortunately we cannot provide details of the where these applicants were moved to; to obtain this information would require individual searches for each applicant. This task would cost the Council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (excessive cost), we are therefore unable to comply with this part of the request.
