FOI Request - Sewage Leaks in School Buildings

1.        Please confirm whether any schools in your area have reported leaks which have resulted in sewage coming into the school buildings (through ceilings, walls etc.)

2.        If the answer to question 1 is yes, please provide a breakdown of a) which schools, b) how many times they have reported this happening since 2019 and c) where within the school these leaks have taken place

Greenwards Primary –        1 Report           11/02/2020 – sewage coming up in ASN boys and girls toilets. Caused by the drains being blocked with wipes and paper towels.
Kinloss Primary –               1 report             28/03/2023 – nursey toilets backed up, caused by blocked drain outside
St Peters Primary –            1 report            12/09/2025 - Nursery toilets backed up caused by blocked drain
Seafield Primary -               1 report            11/11/2025 – Hub Building – staff toilet overflowing caused by blocked drain.
