Option 3: Managed Support

Where you choose to have all or part of your care and support delivered by SDS Option 3, your social worker will select and arrange services on your behalf to meet your outcomes.

The benefits of an option 3 are:

• You do not have any administrative burden.
• If you do not have capacity and have no one to act on your behalf, then your social worker can make the support decisions on your behalf.

Your Social Worker should still ask for your views, and these should be taken into consideration, and they should involve you in making decisions.
