Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information:

1. A list of all hotel or hotel-use properties that are:
including any such assets held via subsidiaries, joint ventures, arms-length companies, or investment vehicles.

a) Owned (freehold or leasehold) by council

b) Leased to third-party operators, or

c) Otherwise controlled or managed by the Council

2. For each property, please provide (where available):

a) Property name and address

b) number of rooms

c) Ownership structure (direct/subsidiary/JV)

d) Current use (operational hotel, temporary accommodation, vacant, etc.)

e) Operator name (if applicable)

f) Lease or management structure (lease, management agreement, block booking, etc.)

3. Any internal classification used by the Council for such assets (e.g., investment property, regeneration asset, temporary accommodation)

a) Where available, please indicate whether any of the above assets are:

i) Currently being marketed for sale, lease, or operator partnership, or

ii) Identified within the Council’s asset strategy, regeneration plans, or disposal programmes as potential candidates for leasing, disposal, or third-party operation.

1. a) Moray Council does not own any hotel or hotel-use properties. For clarity, Moray Council is situated in Scotland where property law is different from England and Wales and leasehold and freehold are not applicable in Scotland.

b) Moray Council does not lease any hotel or hotel-use properties to third party operators

c) Moray Council does not control or manage any hotel or hotel-use properties
