3. How much revenue was made from the use of the police in parking fines for this period only.
4. For this period. How much more revenue was made in parking fines compared to a month where the police was not used.

A Service Level Agreement has been signed between Moray Council and Police Scotland for the provision of parking enforcement in Elgin Town Centre during 2026.
1. The value of the agreement is for expenditure of up to £10,000 via the Elgin Common Good Fund. When the funding is exhausted the agreement concludes.
2. The operation commenced in April and is expected to be in place for up to 6 months.
3. Not held. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) - Information not held. In order to be helpful, please note that it is possible that such data is held by Police Scotland.
4, 5 & 6. As above, Section 17 FOISA, information not held. The Council does not issue fines, only excess charge notices for pay and display car park violations.
