Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, please provide the following information as held by the council in its capacity as a social landlord:

1. The total number of council/local-authority-owned residential housing units as at:

a. 1 November 2025 (when the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private and Social Rented Sectors regulations came into force for social landlords); and

b. 1 July 2026, or the most recent date for which figures are available if 1 July 2026 data is not yet held.

2. Of each of those totals, the number and proportion of units for which the council held a valid, in-date Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) (i.e. one issued within the preceding five years) as at each of the two dates above.

3. For November 1, 2025, and the most recent date given in response to (1)(b), the number of units where the most recent EICR has expired, is overdue, or where no EICR is held.

4. Whether the council has a documented target or timetable for reaching full compliance ahead of the 1 November 2026 deadline (in line with new Electrical Safety Standards in the Private and Social Rented Sectors regulations) for existing social tenancies, and if so, what that timetable is.

5. If housing stock is managed by an arm's-length organisation (ALEO) or housing association on the council's behalf, please confirm this and, where possible, provide the same breakdown (both dates) for that stock, or advise who I should direct this request to.
