Rugby Development

Rugby Union has established itself as a hugely popular sport for both participants and spectators all around the world. In moray we are lucky to have four Rugby clubs in Elgin, Buckie, Kinloss and Lossiemouth.

Key objectives are to increase player/team numbers of all ages, increase the number of volunteers involved in rugby, through training increase the qualifications and skill levels of individuals within the clubs (players and non-players) and to strengthen the school to club links to ensure a smooth transition when young people move from school to club rugby.

We are always looking for players, coaches, referees and volunteers to help with developing the sport. Whether you can spend a day a week or just an hour a month helping there is a place for you in Rugby. In return, if you wish, we can work with you to obtain recognised qualifications in coaching and refereeing. If you would like to discuss any issues in relation to rugby development, please contact:
