I am a new customer, what can Moray Council offer my business/organisation?
Our Commercial Waste Officer will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please contact us and a member of our helpful team will be in touch with you to discuss your businesses needs further.
I only need a bin at certain times of the year. Can I arrange this?
We make every effort to provide a commercial waste and recycling collection service which suits your needs. If your business has seasonal requirements please advise us from the outset. If you require the service to be modified at any time please inform us immediately.
My bin is broken/damaged what should I do?
Please contact us and we will arrange a replacement.
In order to reduce the potential for harm to your staff and collection crews, please do not overfill the bins.
I am an existing customer. How do I make changes to my contract?
If you are an existing customer and you wish to make changes to or discuss your contract please contact us or call us 0300 1234565.
How can I reduce my waste?
Contact our Commercial Waste Officer to review your individual requirements, request a visit or details of other organisations who may be able to offer you specialist solutions.

How do I know if the person I give my waste to is a registered waste carrier?
SEPA hold a list of carriers and brokers registered in Scotland. Transferring waste to an unregistered company or person is an offence, liable upon summary conviction to a fine of up to £5,000.
Can I arrange additional collections?
We understand that the volume of waste you produce may be subject to seasonal variation. With 48 hours prior notice, we can make arrangements for collection of additional waste and recycling capacity.
