1. Incidences of dog attacks pre- 26 February 2011 (before the Dog Control Notices came into place)
2. Incidences of dog attacks after 26  February 2011 (after the Dog Control Notices came into place) I appreciate that there may not be a simple measure recorded in terms of types of dog attacks and if so, please could you specify dog bite records?

1. The Environmental Health Section received 14 dog attack complaint between January 1st 2010 and 26 February 2011.

2. Since the 26 February 2011 the undernoted number of complaint re dog attacks have been received:

2011 - 40

2012 - 70

2013 - 60

2014 - 111

2015 - 89

2016 - 85

Our records relate to dog control and these have been filtered to include dog attacks only. We do not hold a separate database on dog bite incidents.
