FOI Request Flooding in Buckie

In respect of flooding which took place in Buckie on the following dates – 23 December 2012, 29 January 2014, 12 August 2014 and June 2016:

1.Details of any investigation or response measures carried out in relation to the flooding incidents in Buckie and any conclusions reached as to the cause of the floods.
2.Any information or conclusions you hold in relation to the cause of the floods and in each case who you believe to be liable for the resulting damage/loss, if anyone.
3.Information about any action Moray Council took to control and stop the flooding at the time of each incident.  Please specify what action was taken, who was instructed and what the outcome was.
4.Information about any remedial steps taken to prevent recurrence following each flood.  Again, please specify what the council did or if other parties were instructed please advise what they were instructed to do and what the outcome was.
5.Information on the drainage system – is there a SUDS drainage in place?  Who is responsible for the communal drainage?
6.Information of any measures taken to improve drainage in the area following the floods.
7.Copies of all records held by the council relating to the drainage system in this area and whether the council has now adopted the access road.
8.Information about any flood risk assessments that were carried out prior to the flooding.
