Licensing Board Consultation for Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Policy 2019- 2021

Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005 requires a licensing authority, before each successive period of three years, to prepare a statement of the principles that they propose to apply in exercising their functions and to publish the statement.

The Moray Council Licensing board is currently reviewing its Gambling Act 2005 Statement of Policy for the period January 2019 to December 2021.

You are invited to submit your views and comments on the proposed Statement. These may be sent by email to licensingconsult@moray.gov.uk or in writing to the Depute Clerk to the Licensing Board, Moray Council, Council Office, High Street, Elgin IV30 1BX by 30th November 2018.

Your comments and feedback will be considered by the Council’s Licensing Board after the end of the consultation period. Elected members will make a final decision on the changes proposed and following Board approval the revised Statement of Policy will be implemented in 2019.
