Advanced Notice of Upcoming Consultation on Taxi Rank Movement, Elgin

Please note our Environmental and Commercial Services (Transportation) Department have given notice for the extension to the temporary order for moving the taxi rank outside the Muckle Cross pub to outside the ex-Servicemen’s club. A link to this is available here

This is an advanced notice for Taxi Drivers and Operators to inform you that they intend to make the pavement widening on the south side of the High Street permanent which  will affect the permanent location of the taxi rank.

It is their intention to carry out a consultation with Taxi Drivers and Operators on a possible rank location for the future which can accommodate the desire for a widened pavement.
