Moray Council (Prohibition Of Waiting And Consolidation - Various Streets, Lossiemouth) Order 2024
Moray Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The effect of the Order which will come into operation on 9/6/2025 will be to introduce new restrictions where parked vehicles are creating difficulty for road users at junctions, and for traffic management where long lengths of parked vehicles leave no room for opposing vehicles to safely pass. The Order will consolidate all previous orders related to waiting restrictions in and around Lossiemouth and is promoted in the interests of road safety. The Order is as specified in the Northern Scot on 17/01/25.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act are not being complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 25/4/2025 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
