How to Comment on a Planning Application

Online

Using our online service for Planning Applications:

• You can search for Planning applications
• You can submit a comment about a Planning Application
• You can view all comments related to a Planning Application
• You can see the decisions made about a Planning Application

To use the Public Access Application search go to the search box and enter a keyword, reference number, postcode or single line of an address, click search, then choose the appropriate application. You can also use the online maps to search visually.

To make a comment about a Planning Application go to the application and click on the Comment tab

To view all comments related to the Planning Application click on the Document tab

An acknowledgement letter will be sent out confirming if comments and objections have been received within or outwith the time period. If the objection is received within the time period, the objector will be advised of the outcome of the application, once a decision has been reached.
