Call for evidence - EEA workers in the UK labour market

The UK Government has commissioned the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to advise on the economic and social impact of the UK’s exit from the European Union and on how the UK’s immigration system should be aligned with modern strategy.

The Moray Council has been asked to submit evidence on this and would like to hear from employers in Moray who have concerns about the impact of Brexit. We would particularly like to hear how changes in migration patterns affect your recruitment practices, training and skills and any economic impacts this may have for you.

If you wish to give information or to discuss this further, please contact

We will need to present the evidence by Friday 22 September.

You can find the call for evidence and briefing paper on the MAC website at https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/call-for-evidence-and-briefing-note-eea-workers-in-the-uk-labour-market.
