Food Export Certificates

Businesses exporting food outside the UK may need an export certificate. These certificates confirm that the products meet UK legal requirements and any additional standards set by the destination country. Requirements vary by product and country, so exporters must check with the importing country’s authorities and UK agencies such as Defra or APHA for specific conditions.

Please note it is the exporter's responsibility to ensure that the destination country's requirements are met and you will supply us with all the necessary information.

The certificate may only be supplied to those businesses that are approved or registered with this Service and have demonstrated an effective HACCP system in operation.
