Direct Services Annual Survey

 

Direct Services is the branch of Moray Council that provides a wide range of  front line services in the areas of roads maintenance, transportation, environmental services, and consultancy to Moray residents. These services include:  

Roads maintenance: management and maintenance of public roads, winter maintenance, street lights, procurement and maintenance of the council’s vehicles, plant and provision of emergency response.

Transportation: traffic and road safety functions, public transport services, car parks, school crossing patrol services, transport policies and strategies, active and sustainable travel, street works coordination, harbours, bus stops and passenger shelters and roadside bus timetables.

Consultancy: Civil engineering design, Coastal protection, Flood risk management, Surface water management, Bridges, Structures, Road design, Contract management.

Environmental protection: lands and parks, burial grounds and cemeteries, waste management, open spaces, public toilets, street cleaning, facilities management, and cleaning and catering.

 

Every year, Direct Services carries out a survey to gather residents’ feedback on the services that they provide. The survey is broken down into four parts. You can choose to complete just one section of the survey that interests you the most, or as many sections as you like.

PART A of this survey asks about your experience of and views on Lands and Parks, Open Spaces and Cemeteries.  

PART B of this survey asks about your experience of and views on Waste Management.

PART C of this survey asks about your experience of and views on Elgin Car Parks.

PART D of this survey asks about your experience of and views on Transportation, Roads, Winter Maintenance and Flooding.

Each part of the questionnaire should only take a few minutes to complete. Your feedback is important as it is an opportunity for you to inform decision-making in this area.
