The first point of contact with the Department in respect of children with disabilities in the Area Social Work Teams.

The teams undertake needs assessments and look to support children and their families in a variety of ways.  This may include referral to Aberlour Child Care Trust who provides a residential respite service for children at Alba Place in Elgin.  The Moray Options Project also run by Aberlour offers additional support services.
