Council Tax Charge
We set our Council Tax for the next financial year, 2017-18, at a meeting of the Council on 15th February 2017.
Moray Council has increased the Council Tax charge by 3%, with the new Band D charge being £1,169.05. The council continues to collect water and waste water charges on behalf of the Scottish Water Authority and any queries regarding these charges or your supply, should be raised directly with them.

These amounts do not include any levy amount, entitlement to Local Council Tax Reduction, Disabled Banding Reduction, Discount or Exemption. If you think you are entitled to any of these reductions, and it is not already shown on your Council Tax bill, please contact us.
