Alarm Responder x 1 ref EL25 (reopened 30/11/17)

When – as required, emergency situations only
Role – Community Alarm responder/keyholder for lady – must live within 30 minutes travel time   
Tasks – call and check well being of person who has activated alarm.  Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend training and reviews.

Activities Buddy – ref EL65 (re-opened 13/7/16)

When – 2 hours a week  
Role – To offer support to lady to access new activities in the community   
Tasks – To support lady to attend activities which she enjoys such as walking, dancing and exercise classes. Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend Adult Protection training and reviews.

When – 2 - 3 Hours once a week
Role – To offer support to gentleman with visual impairment to reduce isolation and to engage with his community  
Tasks – To accompany gentleman out for coffee and to attend activities of interest to him such as library/museum. Provide companionship and conversation.  Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend training and reviews.
Skills required – Experience of working with people with visual impairment and anxiety would be helpful but not essential. Training provided.  Caring nature, patience, good communication skills, reliable and committed, trustworthy and respectful.  PVG check required, paid for by Moray Council

Role – To support lady to go out in the community
