Alarm Responder x 2 ref RO30 (4/10/22)

When – as required, emergency situations only
Role – Community Alarm responder/keyholder for a lady – must live within 30 minutes travel time   
Tasks – call and check well being of person who has activated alarm
Skills required – Understanding, calm in difficult situations, level headed.

Activity Support – ref RO33 (20/6/23)

When – 3 hours once or twice a week         
Role – To support service users to enjoy meaningful activities in a Day Service environment   
Tasks – To support service users to participate in meaningful activities eg crafts, quizzes, baking
Skills required – An awareness of the difficulties experienced by older people and the ability to be a good listener desirable but not essential

Social Buddy – ref RO34 (24/7/23)

When – 2 hours once a week                    
Role
– To visit with lady and support to go out in the community  
Tasks – To visit with lady and support to explore activities in the local area                   
Skills required – An awareness of the difficulties experienced by people with a learning disability and mental health issues desirable but not essential.
