Social Buddy – ref BUR13 (reopened 8/10/19)

When – 2 hours once a week                                                                                                          
Role – To visit with lady and support to go out in the community  
Tasks – To visit with lady for coffee and chat. To support to go out in the community for coffee. To provide social contact and reduce isolation. Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend training and reviews.
Skills required – An awareness of the difficulties experienced by people with mobility difficulties desirable but not essential. Training provided. Patience, good communication skills, reliable and committed, trustworthy and respectful, ability to maintain boundaries and follow policies and procedures.  PVG check required, paid for by Moray Council

Social Buddy – ref BUR23 (15/8/18)

When – 2 hours once a week                                                                                                       ~
Role – To support lady to go out in the community
Tasks – To support lady to go out in the local community or to visit at home. To provide social contact. Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend training and reviews.
Skills required – An awareness of the difficulties experienced by people with a visual impairment  desirable but not essential. Training provided. Patience, good communication skills, reliable and committed, trustworthy and respectful, ability to maintain boundaries and follow policies and procedures.  PVG check required, paid for by Moray Council

Social Buddy – ref BUR25 (7/6/19)

When – 2 hours on a Tuesday or Thursday                                                                                                          
Role – To visit with gentleman and support to go out in the community  
Tasks – To visit with gentleman and support to go out in the community.  To support to engage with activities that he enjoys.  To provide additional social contact. Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend training and reviews.
Skills required – An awareness of the difficulties experienced by people with mobility difficulties (wheelchair user) desirable but not essential. Training provided. Patience, good communication skills, reliable and committed, trustworthy and respectful, ability to maintain boundaries and follow policies and procedures.  PVG check required, paid for by Moray Council

Social Buddy – ref BUR26 (12/9/19)

When – 2 hours once a week                                                                                                          
Role – To visit with lady and support to go out in the community  
Tasks – To visit with lady and support to go out in the community. To provide companionship and help build confidence. Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend training and reviews.
Skills required – An awareness of the difficulties experienced by people with mental health issues, visual impairment and mobility difficulties (wheelchair user) desirable but not essential. Training provided. Patience, good communication skills, reliable and committed, trustworthy and respectful, ability to maintain boundaries and follow policies and procedures.  PVG check required, paid for by Moray Council
